Damned, what a beauty! That was my first impression when I unpacked this knife. It came, by the way, very nicely presented. What else to expect from Italians?
I have, of course, seen this knife both once and twice on the Internet before, but never in person. It became well-known already when it was released and the reason is that Lionsteel, who is behind this knife, has a habit of winning rewards at shows like "Blade". And they did so with this model called ROK. This time it was the "Manufacture quality award".

The reason being that his knife is a playground for technical solutions with one standing out and it's called "H.WAYL".
Behind that acronym, you find a patented detail regarding the clip. A subject I will, of course, return to in the upcoming review of this knife. Besides that this knife offers IKBS-ball bearings, an integral construction, Rotoblock safety, and removable flipper. The material isn't anything to be ashamed of either with an advanced aluminum handle and a blade of M390-steel.
And then, as it happens, the blade shape is versatile and competent and the handle really comfortable. So it's not just technology for its own sake. Behind it, you'll find a good knife. Did I mention it looks pretty as well?
