Fresh start, restart or just continuation?
How you relate to New Year's Eve, the New Year, and January depends on how the previous year went. In my case, it's nice that 2025 is over. Life gave me a few blows, and now it's time to move on or stumble forward; the movement is somewhat unclear. But to be honest, I haven't heard anyone say that they're looking forward to 2026. There are quite a few things out there in the world that don't look too bright, unfortunately.
But if we stick to the smaller perspectives, it certainly looks better, even if there are clouds on the horizon, in this area too. Shit. Changing perspectives didn't help at all in this case.
In fact, this also applies to the micro format, and then we are down to the level that concerns this blog. We'll see how the future unfolds. But what has happened is that some large partners have changed their marketing plans and are therefore out of the game for me. Someone new is on the way, but otherwise it looks bleak on that front.

But in the meantime, there will be some writing here after all. I have already started a kind of "chronicle" of the past knife-throwing year, as some may have seen. It is at this time that such summaries should be made. Right now, however, the throwing is down as King Bore is here in full force. The snow is swirling outside the window and is quite deep for this part of the world.
However, there will be more writing about knife throwing, rest assured. A lot is happening, or rather will happen, in that area. Not least, a World Cup is coming up in the summer, and a new club has been started here in Växjö.
There will, of course, be some knife reviews too. Not least, I have a bit of a backlog in that area. Soon, knives fromAl Mar, Acejet, Cold Steel, Kershaw, SRM, QSP, and Zitoon Knives. will be reviewed.
The first of them is an excellent little knife from SRM called Medal.
