Civivi C201D Odium |
Already in advance, I suspect that to be case as it is already available in at least six versions to choose from. The reason why I am uncertain about the number is that there are so many that can be found on Civivi's website, but then there are almost always so-called "dealer exclusives" of popular models that pop up here and there and are almost impossible to keep track of.
The reason why I became curious about this model is not at all difficult to see for those who know my weakness for Spyderco Lil 'Native. Odium follows almost exactly the dimensions of that knife, namely. More about that at a later time when I intend to make a comparison between them.
Odium is thus a very small knife. A knife as a complement for something larger or for those who feel that larger knives are just awkward to carry around. This knife measures only just under 16 cm in opened position and the blade is 67mm long or perhaps, short. The weight ends up around seventy grams. A rather discreet knife in other words.
The first impression is that Civivi, as always, maintains the highest quality when it comes to precision in production. It remains to be seen what I think of the knife as a tool. I'll be back with a report on that subject.
