Since I was so excited about my first knife (LINK) from MKM, Maniago Knife Makers, it's time for another one. This time I wanted a slightly larger knife, mainly intended as an EDC. Certainly, Isonzo as the first is named is an excellent one as well. But sometimes at least I want a slightly longer edge and not least a pointier tip.

Therefore, the choice fell on Timavo. In this case, too, it is the Danish Jesper Voxnaes who has been on the move. The fact that he is extremely productive has probably not been missed by many knife enthusiasts. He collaborates with several different companies but mainly his models are found in editions from Italian companies. So also this time.

The materials are recognizable as MKM consistently invests in high quality and especially in these knives. Or how about linen-Micarta in the handle and a blade in M390? It is then spiced up with details such as a wire clip and a collar around the pivot screw in titanium. Overall, the knife can be summed up with a good design in a luxurious package.
Now it remains to be seen if it is as good as I hope. Given the first impressions and how well built this knife is too, there is good hope for that. A detailed report comes when the knife has been worn and used.
