Friday EDC No. CXLIV "CS"

Friday again. For most people, including me, it means mostly work. This text is simply being written during my lunch break. Today I cooked Fish 'n' Chips with remoulade sauce. It seemed to be appreciated, so I can be happy with that.

Otherwise, I probably thought about going to the throwing range this afternoon. I haven't thrown more than once since finishing the Swedish Championship. There have simply been other things to do. But now the weather is offering a bonus day when it was supposed to rain, but it didn't. I see it as a sign. The knife throwing is mostly an alibi, so I can really get out and get some fresh air. A thermos of coffee is included.

That's why I have the big knife in my bag, by the way. It's supposed to be used to "repair" chipped throwing targets.

"CS" As seen Cold Steel in my pocket and bag today. 

The knives are apparently a pair from Cold Steel. One of them is a hidden gem in the knife world, namely the Hold Out III. It has most of the things a small pocket knife should have. It is simply awesome. Almost as cool, but about as flexible as a brick, albeit a fairly light brick, is the SR1 Lite. "Lite" should mostly be seen in relation to its even cooler cousin with better materials and, of course, more weight. This knife also weighs in at around two hundred grams or just under.

Fredags-EDC CXLIV

Fredag igen. För de flesta inklusive mig innebär det mest jobb. Den här texten författas på lunchrasten helt enkelt. Idag har jag bjudit på Fish 'n'n Chips med remoulad-sås. Den verkade uppskattad så det får jag vara nöjd med. 

I övrigt tänkte jag mig nog en runda till kastbanan i eftermiddag. Det har inte kastats mer än en gång efter avklarat SM. Det har funnits annat att göra helt enkelt. Men nu bjuder vädret på en bonusdag då det egentligen skulle regnat men inte gör det. Jag ser det som ett tecken. Knivkastningen blir mest ett alibi så jag verkligen kommer ut och får lite frisk luft. En termos kaffe får allt följa med. 

Det är förresten därför jag har den stora kniven i väskan. Den är tänkt att användas för att "frisera" uppflisade kasttavlor med. 

"CS" Som synes Cold Steel i fickan respektive väskan idag. 

Knivarna är som synes ett par från Cold Steel. En är av knivvärldens bästa doldisar, nämligen Hold Out III. Det har det mesta en liten fickkniv skall. Den är grym helt enkelt. Nästan lika häftig fast ungefär lika smidig som en tegelsten, om än en rätt lätt tegelsten, är SR1 Lite. "Lite" skall mest ses i relation till sin ännu häftigare kusin med bättre material och förstås, mer tilltagen vikt. Även den här kniven väger in kring två  hekto eller strax därunder.
