New Knife - SRM 418S

A subheading could be "when small been taken to its extreme". Because this is a very small knife. We are talking about a knife that has a blade that if it stretches really well in the morning reaches just over three centimeters or 1.26 inches to be exact. The midget of the knife world, sorry, a figure of short stature.

That I'm nagging about it is because I may not have read the specifications as carefully as I should. Yes, I understood that it would not be mammoth-like. But maybe not really how tiny the SRM 418S actually is! It must represent the lower limit of what can actually be used for something.

Despite the diminutive format, it is a full-fledged knife in terms of both construction and material. The blade is made of 12C27 steel from Sandvik and the handle is made of titanium. SRM has also succeeded in squeezing in an over-travel stop and a steel lock bar reinforcement. All in tiny format. The flipper tab has, however, had to be extended beyond the length of the knife to work.

A knife for the keychain perhaps? Or maybe not considering that it is difficult to flip the knife open then.

But at least a box opener de luxe?
