New Knife - Sencut Borzam

There are budget knives and then there are affordable knives that feel like they should cost more. Borzam from Sencut clearly belongs to that category. It is well built like most that come from WE/Civivi/Sencut and looks very good as well. Elegant overall lines and you can really tell by looking at it that it fits in a human hand.

The materials are also competent without being exclusive. The blade is made of 9Cr18MoV which is a capable steel. The handle is made of good quality G10, which in this case is colored green. If you don't like it, it is also available in brown and black. The handle sides are found on the outside of a steel frame that is considerably lightened.

One should be aware that the Borzam is a fairly large knife. The total length amounts to just under twenty-one centimeters, 209 mm. Of that, the blade accounts for 88 mm. The scale stops at 122 g, which is okay considering the large blade. Or it's mostly the height that is substantial, the thickness is only 3 mm, which together with a high secondary bevel gives a knife that cuts really well.  something I can say right from the beginning. I have tested it a little.

The knife is opened with either the double-sided thumb studs or the flipper tab if you don't prefer two hands, of course. The blade is held in place by a well-made liner lock.

Overall, this feels like a very solid knife for those who want a work buddy that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I will return with a proper review in the near future.
