New Knife - Cold Steel Mini Leatherneck Clip Point

Cold Steel's knives called "Leatherneck" are originally an interpretation of a classic Ka-Bar, the iconic American combat knife. Cold Steel's variant came with two types of blade shapes, the Clip point blade typical of the style and their famous American Tanto. There is also a Bowie edition in the family these days. A huge knife, as it should be.

But then there is a trio of knives in mini format consistently dubbed the Mini LeatherneckIn addition to the mentioned blade types, it can also be obtained with a double-edged dagger blade.

Cold Steel offers a mini-edition of a famous knife

However, this version has a clip point that measures 89mm, giving a total length of just over 17 centimeters, 172mm. As the blade made of 8Cr3MoV is no thicker than 3 mm, the weight is as low as 94 grams. This means that the knife can possibly be used as a "neck knife". But that can be debated. Why I intend to address in the upcoming review.

In any case, this is a small, fun, and quite practical rascal from Cold Steel for those who don't want to lug around a full large Ka-Bar but still get some vibes from that type of knife. Then there's no denying that the price tag is appealing.
