New Knife QSP Falcon

At least one knife arrived! The reason for this is probably that it was not sent via Postnord which is a mess right now. This package came with DHL. They at least deliver their shipments which are more than can be said about the Swedish postal service at the moment. I'm just telling you because no less than two knives are astray at the moment.

The latest package to arrive at my home came from far away. Directly from China, as it happens, and it contained a new creation from QSP. This time a knife with very distinct lines but made in intricate materials.

Another bird has joined the flock, I say welcome to the Falcon

Falcon is a so-called modern traditional. More concretely that means it is a slip joint. It thus lacks a locking mechanism. Something else it didn't come with is a clip but instead, the knife comes with a sheath. A really nice one I might add. One of the more well-made ones I've seen on a production knife actually.

The handle is titanium with inlays of a very attractive variant of carbon fiber. The carbon fiber sides are also well-fitted and also contoured for better ergonomics. The blade is stainless patterned-welded steel and the components are VG10 and 9Cr18MoV.

Overall, the knife gives a very good first impression. It feels simplistic but sturdy and well built. Of course, a review will follow.
