Just over a month ago, I presented a knife from the new or perhaps restarted brand SRM - Stay Ready for More. Now it's time again for another knife from them. This model is called 9201 and is a significantly larger knife than model 7228 I showed last time.
SRM 9201 |
9201 is, as mentioned, a larger knife, which more concretely means a total length of 20,5 cm, with a blade length of 9 cm. The handle is made of G10, the lock is an Ambi-lock which is one of many derivatives from BM's Axis lock where the patent expired. I might add that his version feels really good with a distinct action. The blade steel used is D2 and the knife has ball bearings. The blade is opened as seen with the help of a well-beveled blade hole. The package comes with a reversible low carry clip. All in all, a potent knife for a price tag of around 48 USD.
I think this knife can be a real challenger in the budget class. It looks rather nice with its clip point and simple handle shape. The materials are not too bad either and the handling is very sympathetic as is the ergonomics it seems. I'm looking forward to getting to know this knife further.
